The yacht

More than a boat,
a living heritage.

There is only one Izenah III. Design number 11 by Dick Carter, the American architect who revolutionised sailing in the 1960s. Custom-built at the Maas yard in Breskens, the Netherlands, and launched on 29 May 1970.

Two-time French Champion, selected for the 1971 Admiral's Cup on the French national team alongside Pen Duick III by Tabarly and Gitana V by the Rothschild family. Then fifteen years sailing around the world before being found in Martinique by the Righezza family, restored over seven years and granted maritime heritage status in 2017.

A passionate sailor at the helm

Sylvio grew up on this boat. A professional mariner since the age of 18, he has been taking passengers to sea for nine years, sharing the story of Izenah III along the way.

Together with his father Jacques, he co-founded Izenah Sailing to turn a family passion into a living, demanding maritime adventure open to all. Holder of the Yachtmaster 200 Sail certification, he knows these waters inside out.

"Every trip is different. The sea decides, and we adapt and enjoy."
