Port d'Alon, bay of La Moutte, Embiez: the coast from a different angle
The coast between Saint-Cyr-sur-Mer and Bandol is fringed with secluded coves only accessible from the sea. By sailboat, you reach them without the crowds on the trails, straight from the open water. Izenah III departs from Port de La Madrague and sails along the coast to the most pristine corners.
Some can only be reached by boat or after a long scramble over rocks. By yacht, we anchor calmly, dropping anchor in the sand. Port d'Alon, the bay of La Moutte, the waters near Embiez: a different world just a stone's throw from the harbour.
The route follows the cliffs between Saint-Cyr-sur-Mer and Bandol. We pass Port d'Alon, Pointe Grenier, and reach the crystal-clear waters off Embiez. A wild shoreline, untouched by mass tourism.
The yacht anchors in a sheltered cove. We swim, sunbathe on deck, share the aperitif. The rhythm is that of the wind and sea, not a fixed timetable.
